The Wake House Community Project
It is our absolute pleasure to announce our next project. This time we are headed to Raleigh to work on The Wake House Family Visitation Center.
The Wake House Family Visitation Center is a one-of- a-kind facility in Wake County where children and youth who are in child welfare custody can visit with their biological families.
The building sees and serves hundreds of families a week. The idea of the facility is for families to be able to meet in a home-like atmosphere where they can have genuine family centered interactions.
However, through the years, the facility has aged and is currently in need of some TLC, in order for us to revive it back to its original purpose of being an environment where all who enter can continue to heal and thrive.
Please consider joining us in this community effort to rehabilitate the Wake House into the space it needs to be. One person or organization cannot do this alone. We need YOUR support. Whether through donations, volunteering, or prayer. Every action of kindness will help us get to where we need to be.

Thank you, village, for all that you do!

Meet The White Family

This incredible family reflects what faithfulness and obedience truly looks like in their calling to foster. As a former foster youth, Morgan brings a depth of understanding about the trials and complexities of foster care. She and her husband together understand the profound importance of nurturing not only the children in their home, but also maintaining respect and connection with each child’s first family whenever possible.
Their story has also shaped their unwavering commitment to keeping siblings together. Morgan said herself, “I don’t know where I would be without my sister.” While this family did not originally plan to foster and adopt seven children, their conviction that siblings belong together has lovingly expanded their home.
With the recent arrival of the two newest little loves, born just weeks apart, Home Sweet Hope is stepping in to create spaces that reflect the warmth and intentionality of this family. We will be designing not one, but two rooms!! A nursery for two precious baby girls and a shared bedroom for four energetic toddler boys.
We've created an Amazon wish list of items needed to bring these rooms to life. If you feel led to support this family, we would be deeply grateful for your contribution on this meaningful project.
